How we collect personal information?

 We collect personal information in a variety of ways:

  • Via paper or online application forms
  • By telephone
  • By email and letters

 This information may have been provided:

  • Directly by you
  • By a manager/colleague from your agency/organisation

 How we will use your information?

 The information you provide to us as part of the application process will be used for the planning, administration, evaluation, coordination and recording of Safeguarding Children Training.  It will be held by Sheffield City Council on behalf of the Sheffield Children Safeguarding Partnership and Quality Assurance and Involvement Service.

 How will we share your information?

Your information will be shared with your agency or organisation and within the Quality Assurance and Involvement Service.  On occasion we may also share your information with other monitoring and regulatory bodies e.g. the Sheffield Children Safeguarding Partnership, other Sheffield City Council quality assurance services and OFSTED.

 How long we keep information for

 As part of our individual training record (ITR), we will keep a record that you have attended the training for up to 4 years.

Polls - Cookie Name: Poll[n] Description: This cookie records which polls have been voted on during a visit to the website. It records a value indicating an option was selected and does not record any personally identifiable data. The cookie is retained for a period of 2 months.

Third party sites

Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. Google Analytics is one such third party website which sets a cookie in order to evaluate your use of websites. This information is then used to evaluate visitor’s use of the website and to compile statistical reports on site activity for us.
